Terms of Service

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kazikit ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your access to and use of our platform. By accessing or using Kazikit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the platform.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kazikit. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Your use will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Account Registration

To access certain features of Kazikit, you must create an account. When creating an account:

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• You may not transfer your account to another person

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subscription and Billing (Post-Beta)

After the beta period ends, Kazikit will offer subscription plans:

• Starter Plan: Free with limited features
• Hustler Plan: KSH 100 per month
• Pro Plan: KSH 300 per month

When billing begins:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• You will be notified at least 30 days before any charges apply
• Refunds will be handled according to our refund policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with advance notice

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create on Kazikit (resumes, cover letters, etc.). By using our platform, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide our services
• Use AI to analyze and improve your documents
• Back up your content for data protection

We will not share, sell, or use your content for any purpose other than providing our services without your explicit consent.

Our Intellectual Property

The Kazikit platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our platform or content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices
• Use our trademarks without permission

You agree to use Kazikit only for lawful purposes. You may NOT:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Spam or send unsolicited communications

Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform
• Implement scheduled or emergency maintenance
• Update features and functionality
• Change these Terms with reasonable notice

Kazikit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That our services will be error-free or uninterrupted
• The accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content
• That using our platform will result in job placement
• The security of data transmission over the internet

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kazikit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the platform
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Errors or inaccuracies in content
• Loss of data or business opportunities

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the platform immediately ceases
• We may delete your account and content after 30 days
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiations or, if necessary, through arbitration in accordance with Kenyan law.
